I founded Samitra Salon in 2011 to create an environment where artistry, innovation, and individuality define the client experience. My passion for transformation has shaped twenty years in the beauty industry, guided by advanced training with Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy Academy, Oribe Exclusive Salon, and Bumble & Bumble University.
As a master colorist certified by Goldwell, Wella, Paul Mitchell, Redken, and Alfaparf Italy, I am dedicated to delivering results that blend precision with creative vision. InStyle magazine’s Ultimate Beauty Black Book honored Samitra as “Best New Salon and Services” in 2012—recognition of my commitment to elevating every detail.
My approach is rooted in collaboration. I design every look with an editorial eye, inspired by fashion, art, and each client’s unique spirit. Constantly evolving, I attend the industry’s leading shows and serve as a recurring guest at the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists’ Energizing Summit to ensure my work remains ahead of the curve.

Meet Talaya, or "T," a licensed cosmetologist with 15+ years of experience who serves as salon manager alongside owner Samera. A Paul Mitchell graduate with advanced training from top brands like Tony & Guy and Wella, Talaya has mastered both technical expertise and client-focused service. As a certified lash technician specializing in enhancing natural beauty, she stays ahead of beauty trends while delivering personalized experiences. Having refined her skills throughout her decade-long partnership with Samera, Talaya is dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best while bringing their beauty goals to life.
PAIGE, BODY SCULPTING SPECIALIST
Meet Paige, a Bay Area native who joined the Samitra Salon team after earning her body contouring certification in 2023. Specializing in non-invasive techniques, Paige is dedicated to helping clients transform their figures through personalized treatments tailored to their unique goals. With her commitment to exceptional results and positive experiences, she creates a comfortable environment where clients can embrace their journey toward their best selves. Passionate about the transformative aspects of body contouring, Paige continues to develop her expertise while helping each client achieve their desired aesthetic outcomes.
